Indianapolis Museum of Art's "Drawings to Prints" exhibition, 2010
An excellent overview exhibit, albeit very brief, of the history of printmaking from the vaults of the IMA. This show includes many of the top printmakers from the Dutch masters of 1600s through American modernism. I'm especially captivated by Karl Bodmer's unique 1830s etching of New Harmony, Indiana. This is a must see exhibit for those who enjoy a little history with their art!
